Visiting a college will give you a chance to better understand the culture of the campus and the opportunities available to you. Every college has its own personality.
University of Dubuque offers a variety of options to visit campus. Individual visits or Preview Days can be arranged based on your preference. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity during your college search to explore the University on a personal level.
This is our favorite type of visit! Any weekday and most Saturdays, the campus is open for you to visit and tour campus. Appointments with admission counselors, academic professors, coaches, ROTC cadre, and Fine & Performing Arts can be arranged for you based on your individual interests.

Aviation Flight Visit:
This visit is specifically designed for students who are interested to become pilots. Any weekday and most Saturdays, you can schedule your Aviation Flight Visit. The visit will begin at the University of Dubuque Flight Operations Center (located at the Dubuque Regional Airport) and continue on the main campus where you will have the opportunity to tour the campus with Student Ambassadors. Appointments with faculty, coaches, ROTC cadre, Fine and Performing Arts will be arranged based on your interests. A meeting with an admission counselor will give you an opportunity to express your individual ambitions and goals. We will discuss the admission and financial planning processes during this final meeting.

Iowa Private College Week
Iowa Private College Week, a program sponsored by the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, gives prospective students and their families a special week-long opportunity to visit all private college campuses in Iowa. University of Dubuque will offer two sessions each day at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Each session will include a tour of campus, information on academic programs, admission and financial planning, lunch (following morning session), and the opportunity to meet with performing arts directors, athletic coaches, and ROTC cadre.
A Preview Day is a small group visit day that allows you an opportunity to visit with coaches (as well as chances to speak with ROTC cadre and Fine & Performing Arts representatives), an academic professor, tour the campus with current students, lunch, and an admission/financial planning overview.
