Men's Basketball Shooting Camp (June 18-20)

The University of Dubuque Men's basketball team will host a shooting camp for boys entering grades 3-8. The camp will run from 10:00-4:00 June 18, 19, and 20th. Cost of the camp is $50. Each participant will receive a T-shirt, free admission to all 2012-2013 home games, and lunch each day! The camp is limited to 90 participants, so register today!

Cross Country Academy (July 22-26)

Who: All High School Runners
What: A comprehensive fun-filled endurance experience
Where: University of Dubuque campus
When: July 22 (Registration and move-in), July 23-26
Why: Prepare for the upcoming season with instruction from the Univ. of Dubuque Cross Country staff and athletes

The University of Dubuque Cross Country Academy is a comprehensive fun-filled endurance experience! the academy highlights energy system development and education, injury pre-habilitation, strength training, nutrition education, and more. Highlights of the academy include: foot structure analysis, bowling night, pool retreat, Heritage Trail, and Mines of Spain runs. Each runner will receive an Academy Manual, T-Shirt, drawstring backpack, and a 20% of discount on footweat/apparel at Shoe Shack. The cost of the camp is $350 for overnight campers and$300 for commuters. Signup with 2 or more teammates and receive $25 off registration. Registration deadline is Friday, July 6th. Women's Basketball Ball Handling and Skills Camp (June 21-22)

Women's Basketball will host a Ball Handling and Skills camp this summer on Thursday, June 21st (9-11:30am, 1-4pm and 5:30-7pm) and Friday, June 22nd (9-11:30am and 1-4pm). The Camp will take place in the Stoltz Sports Center. The cost of the camp is $80. The camp is for girls grades 6-12 and is a great opportunity for young players to improve their individual skills.

Women's Basketball Tournament (June 23-24)

Women's Basketball will be hosting their 5th Annual Girls Basketball State Wars Tournament on Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th on the UD campus. Last year the tournament hosted 24 teams from Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Cost is $275 per team and each team is guarenteed 4 games.

Mini Kickers Camp (June 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28)

Who: Boys and Girls Ages 3-11 years old
What: A six night youth soccer league with professional coaching
Where: University of Dubuque Oyen Soccer Field and Practice Soccer Field
When: June 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 / 4:15 - 5:00 pm (3yr-5yr) 5:15- 6:30 (6yr-11yr)
Why: Provide a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for young soccer players!

Welcome to the University of Dubuque Mini-Kickers Soccer League!! Each player will receive instruction from members of the University of Dubuque Soccer Staff as well as current college soccer players. The camp will emphasize the technical skills of shooting, passing, heading, receiving, turning and dribbling. Plus the beginning skills of defensive and attacking positioning will be taught in a FUN environment where the game is the best teacher. The deadline to sign up is May 28. Cost of the camp is $45 with each participant receiving a t-shirt and participation medal.

Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball Introductory Skills Camp (May 21-22 and June 4-5)

This introductory camp is designed specifically for the youngest of athletes. The first hour starting at 4:30 pm will be softball skills, the second hour will be volleyball skills, and the third hour will be basketball skills. Basic fundamentals will be introduced and incorporated into fun games. Every camp attendee will receive a t-shirt. The cost of the camp is $50 per session or $85 for both. A light snack will be provided each day.

Who: 1st to 3rd Grade Girls
What: A Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball Introductory Camp
Where: McCormick Gym at the University of Dubuque
When: Session 1, May 21-22 from 4:30-7:30pm. Session 2, June 4-5 from 4:30-7:30pm.
Why: To improve every participants basic skills and knowledge of the game through constructive feedback, hand-on istruction and demonstration.

Volleyball Advanced HittingCamp (June 27-28)

This camp will focus on advanced hitting skills and hitting out of an advanced offense. It is recommended for players who are entering their sophomore to senior seasons or have playing club for 3-4 years. The Advanced Hitting Camp will take place on June 27 and 28 from 9:30-11:30 am. It will take place in the Stoltz Sports Center on the campus of the University of Dubuque. The cost for the camp is $45.

Volleyball Summer Academy

The Spartan Volleyball Academy is designed specifically for all athletes. It is the goal of the camp to improve every participant's basic skills and knowledge of the game through constructive feedback, hands-on instruction and demonstration. The cost for attending a single session is $30 or get 4 weeks of training for $100. Campers who pay for a full session will receive a UD Camp volleyball. Camp instruction will include coaches from the UD program as well as current players.

Youth Academy: (Ages 9-12 or little playing experience)
The Youth Academy is designed specifically for the youngest of athletes. Basic skills and concepts will be introduced.
Session 1, May 15th, May 22nd, May 29th, and June 5th from 4:00-5:30 pm.
Session 2, June 19th, June 26th, July 3rd, and July 10th from 9:00-10:30 am.

Intermediate Academy: (Ages 13-15 or 2-3 years playing experience)
The Intermediate Academy is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the game to middle school and freshman players.
Session 1, May 16th, May 23rd, May 30th, and June 6th from 4:00-5:30 pm.
Session 2, June 18th, June 25th, July 2nd, and July 9th from 9:00-10:30 am.
