Spartans Held Scoreless in Loss

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The University of Dubuque women's lacrosse team was hoping for their second victory of the season, unfortunately a veteran group from Augustana College caotured the win by a 26-0 margin. The Spartans trailed after one period 0-16, but rallied in the second half to hold the Vikings to just 10 goals in the final period.
UD was out shot in the contest 1-40, trailed in ground balls 8-27 and finsihed with two clears. Judy Borah was the lone Spartan to get a shot in the loss. Dionna Atwood finished with 10 saves in goal.
