Loggins Named Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Dubuque, Iowa – The University of Dubuque recently accepted the resignation of Lindsay Feig as head women’s lacrosse coach and has appointed Kendall Loggins as the new head coach for women’s lacrosse beginning on May 20, 2013.
Loggins has been an assistant coach in women’s soccer the past two seasons and will continue helping the Spartans women’s soccer team as an assistant coach. She recently completed her master of arts in communications from the University of Dubuque. She joined the Spartan family as a graduate assistant for women's soccer in 2011.
Before coming to the University of Dubuque, she played soccer for the University of Cincinnati for four years as a starting defender, midfielder, and forward. She helped lead the Bearcats to their first appearance in the Big East Tournament in 2008 and was honored as a member of the NCAA Division I All-Ohio team in 2010. She was named a Big East Rookie of the Week and was a member of the Dean’s List.
While at Cincinnati, Loggins worked numerous soccer camps for the university and also coached for the Ohio Elite Soccer Club. Loggins earned a bachelor of science degree at UC in Sport Administration and is originally from Naperville, Ill., where she attended Naperville North High School and was a varsity starter for the soccer team for four years. She was named All-Conference for three years, All-Sectional for two years and All-State for one year.
“Kendall has been a great asset on our athletic staff and we’re happy to be able to promote her as a full-time coach for the Spartans,” commented Athletic Director Dan Runkle. “Many thanks to Lindsay for helping start a new sport at the University of Dubuque, it’s our goal to continue to improve lacrosse to reach a level of success many of our other programs are experiencing.”
