Spartans Blank Monmouth 9-0

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's tennis found the warm weather on Tuesday to their liking as they swept past Monmouth College by a 9-0 score.
UD opened up by claiming all three doubles matches. Chelsea Borden and Ashley Schlueter won at #1 doubles 8-3, Stephanie LoCasto and Marissa Rutenbeck claimed the victory at #2 doubles by a 8-3 score, and Alexandra Dixon and Janine Wegner captured the #3 doubles by an 8-0 score.
The Spartans continued their dominance in singles by capturing all six singles matches. Next up for the Spartans is the Iowa Conference Individual Championships held in Cedar Rapids on October 4-5.
