Wolfe Leads Spartans to Viterbo Invite Title

LACROSSE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team was a stroke out of the lead (297) after the opening round of Viterbo Ronnie Eastman Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 6. Monday the team battled back to shoot the low round (295) to claim the team title with a score of 592.

Cameron Shere led UD with a round of 71 on Sunday, but Eric Wolfe shot a 72 and a 69 to claim medalist honors. Shere and Sobotta tied for 12th overall with 149. Martin Odegard tied for 17th with a 153. In seven meets this fall, the Spartans have won six and placed second once. UD's second team placed 15th overall.

Both rounds of the Ronnie Eastman Invitational were played at the challenging La Crosse Country Club.
