2013 Student-Athlete Park Clean-A-Thon Oct. 20

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University Dubuque student-athletes will donate their time to travel around to city parks to pick up trash and debris in their annual UD Park Clean-A-Thon. Members of the 23 sports teams will take this opportunity to help maintain Dubuque's beautiful parks while fundraising for the UD Spartan Athletic program through donations. UD student-athletes will provide a community service to the Dubuque area by cleaning 15 area parks on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
Each of the University of Dubuque's student-athletes will take the time to pull weeds, pick up trash, paint, etc., as they enjoy volunteering for community service to promote the 'Go Green' movement we want to instill in each of our student-athletes at the University of Dubuque
All money raised through your contributions will go to support the athletic program at UD. Your support of the UD Park Clean-A-Thon for Athletics will help strengthen our athletic programs and help us reach our goal of becoming Iowa Conference Champions.
