UW-Platteville: RESULTS
UW-Stevens Point: RESULTS

PLATTEVILLE/STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN - The University of Dubuque Women's Track & Field team continued to rewrite the UD Record Book on Friday night at the UW-Platteville Final Qualifying Meet. Rachael Busjahn (Sobieksi, Wis./Pulaski), Nicole Forson (Chicago, Ill./Chicago Hope Academy), and Nickolette McKenzie (Hoffman Estates, Ill./William Fremd) all set new school records. UD returned to action on Saturday at the UW-Stevens Point National Qualifier.  No team scores were recorded.

Field events were especially kind to the Spartans as they won two events and set two school records. McKenzie accounted for one of each with her record setting - first place finish in the triple jump. The 2014 IIAC Indoor Champion, she recorded a jump of 11.33m (37'- 2.25") to move into 19th place in Division-III. She also won the triple jump at UW-SP with a jump of 11.01m (36' 1.5") in her fifth jump of the day.

Forson broke the shot put school record that had stood since 2000 with a throw of 11.94m (39'- 2.25"). Katelyn Herbig (Aurora, Ill./Aurora Central) finished ninth at UW-SP in the the weight throw with a final throw of 15.10m (49' - 6.5").

Competing for the first time since the basketball season completed, freshman Emily Brinker (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) won the high jump by clearing 1.65m (5'- 5.0"). Brinker jumped into 29th place in D-III and atop the IIAC performance list. She also tied for fourth at UW-SP by clearing 1.60m (5' 3.0").

On the track, Busjahn lowered her school record time in the 400m Dash to 58.77 seconds with a fourth place finish.

UP NEXT: No UD Women were selected for the NCAA Division-III Indoor Championships. The Spartans will return to the track on April 5th at the Wartburg: Outdoor Select Meet.
