Spartans Men's Tennis Edge Loras

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis dropped two out of three doubles matches on Thursday, but rallied to defeat the Loras College Duhawks 5-4 when they captured four singles matches.
Nikolay Gospodinov/Andrew Drummond won at #2 doubles 8-3. Gospodinov defeated Brian Falvey at #2 singles 6-2, 6-4 to finish the afternoon 2-0. Trevor Calahan battled to a third set and captured the exciting match 4-6, 6-7, 6-1. Newcomer Jacob Mohlis joined the Spartan line-up for the first match of his collegiate career and won at #6 singles 6-0, 6-2=1 over Ken Tucker.
