Apr 14, 2014 | J.Crane

DUBUQUE, IOWA - The University of Dubuque Women's Lacrosse team braved near freezing temperatures on Monday afternoon en route to their third straight win. The Spartans 11-6 victory over Benedictine had to be moved to the Rock Bowl because of nearly four inches of rain over night. The six goals allowed by UD is the lowest single game total allowed in the programs two year history. The Spartans are 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.

Bridgett Schirmers (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids) led UD offensively with four goals and two assists. The Spartans outscored their opponents 42-25 during the three game winning streak.
