Basierak Named to All-Tournament Team

MILLIKIN, Ill. - The University of Dubuque volleyball team finished Millikin University’s Linda Slagell Dig for the Cure Classic 1-3 in the tournament, capturing a 3-0 win against Blackburn College. UD's Klaudia Basierak was the lone Spartan named to the All-Tournament Team. She played in three matches and finished with 40 kills, 24 digs, three aces and four blocks.

The Spartans are 12-22 overall and 2-4 in the Iowa Conference. UD has one IIAC match left of the regular season and are battling for a #5 seed in the IIAC Tournament. UD will play at Loras College on Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. The Iowa Conference Tournament begins on Nov. 4 at sites yet to be determined.
