This Saturday, the University of Dubuque Spartans take on Augustana College and Knox College in a wrestling dual.

University of Dubuque students, faculty, and staff have big plans for the day including free food, door prizes, give-aways, and activities to raise funds to support the Dubuque Multicultural Family Center’s Future Talk program.

Future Talk connects urban youth with nature and the community through work, education, and service. Participants are 13-17 years old; about 70% are from minority/undeserved communities.  Participants work on environmental restoration and beautification projects, in both paid and unpaid community service hours.

Prior to the matches sustainability awards will be given out, and between matches environmental awareness activities are planned.
