BOX SCORE
Oshkosh, Wis. - Ryann Abeyta's first goal as a Spartan cut the deficit to one, but UW-Oshkosh countered with a goal in the 88th minute as the University of Dubuque women's soccer team fell, 3-1, on the road Tuesday night.

The Spartans (10-5-1) matched the Titans shot-for-shot at 14 apiece, but couldn't get over the hump after allowing UW-Oshkosh to a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute. A Titan goal in the 40th put the Spartans in a 2-0 hole until Abeyta scored from 10 yards out on the left side at the 85-minute mark on freshman Lauren Cangelosi's fifth assist of the year. The Titans (10-3-1) secured the victory in the 88th and improved to 3-0 against the Iowa Conference this season.

Senior Katie Lynn led the charge offensively with six shots, including three on goal. UD freshman goalkeepers Paige Dykstra and Megan Moll played the first half and second half, respectively, with Dykstra assuming the loss.

UD fell to 0-2 in the all-time series against UW-Oshkosh in dropping their final non-conference match of the season.

The Spartans face Coe (14-1-1, 4-1 Iowa Conference) on the road in their penultimate regular season IIAC match. The Kohawks are riding a four-game Iowa Conference win streak that included a 2-1 victory over Simpson on the road their last time out.
