DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque track and field teams open their season against Loras in the second annual Spartan-Duhawk dual meet that features throwing and sprinting events this Saturday, December 5 at 4:00 p.m. on the A.Y. Indoor Track at the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center.
The second annual meet will feature only the University of Dubuque and their cross-town rivals, the Loras Duhawks. No distance events will be run as the schedule (see above) will stick to field and sprinting events. Loras' Elizabeth Brandenburg, the 2014 women's track performer of the meet, is the only returner of the four inaugural award winners a year ago.
