USTFCCCA Announce Scholar Teams and Athletes for 2014-15

Jul 23, 2015

NEW ORLEANS – The University of Dubuque men's and women's track and field teams have been honored as a Scholar Team and had four individuals named to the All-Academic Team for the 2014-15 NCAA Division III Track & Field season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

As the highest-placing teams with at least a 3.10 cumulative team grade point average at this season’s indoor and/or outdoor NCAA Championships, UW-La Crosse stood out among 170 women’s teams and 99 men’s programs that combined academic and athletic achievement to earn All-Academic Team honors this season. The Spartans earned the honor for both the men’s and women’s squads in 2014-15.

Based on their accomplishments both in the classroom and in competition during the recently completed academic year, the Spartans had four individuals who were exceptional among a group of 420 women and 297 men who earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

Women:
Tanasha Atwater - Pre-Professional Health
