CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dubuque's men's cross country student-athlete, Alec Bass, claimed week #1 Performer of the Week in the Iowa Conference as voted on by the nine Sports Information Directors.

- Won his second consecutive Mount Mercy Mustang Gallop
- Bass finished first in a time of 15.41 on the 5,000-meter course at Morgan Creek Park, Cedar Rapids, IA
- Finished nine seconds ahead of the second place finisher in the 80-man field
- Led the Spartans to a fourth place finish out of eight teams
- 2015 All-Iowa Conference: 10th
