Jacob Mohlis was the fourth starter to reach double figures as he had 11 points with two three's.

"Jake Weber once again played with a great motor and had a great game with 19 points and 21 rebounds and we had four guys in double figures which was nice.  We mixed in some zone and were able to defend pretty good for the most part," commented UD head coach Robbie Sieverding.  "We still have some areas to clean up if we want to be consistent but tonight was a step in the right direction."

UD shot 49.2% from the field for the goal, while also shooting 46.4% from behind the arc. Meanwhile, the Spartans held the Saints to 39.3% from the field and 34.5% from three. The Spartans had five players grab steals from Saints players and forced defense 14 total turnovers. "We play a much more athletic team in Clarke on Friday and we will need to be locked in with only one day of preparation," said Sieverding.

The Spartans are right back in action on Friday night, as they take on Clarke College at 7:00 p.m. at the Stoltz Sports Center.
