Men's Golf Place 10th at Clarke Fall Invite

PEOSTA, Iowa- The Dubuque men’s golf team finished 10th out of 15 teams with a score of 659 in the Clarke University Fall Classic at Thunder Hills Country Club.
The conditions on the course did not do the players any favors, as it was extremely windy and the course was very wet still from all of the rain recently. Lane Hawkins led the way for the Spartans after tying for 6th overall with a final score of 153. Hawkins was consistent both days by shooting a 76 Sunday and 77 Monday. Nicholas Kaufman was second for the Spartans with a score of 171. The other Spartan golfers came in right behind Kaufman, Avery Brandt totaled a 172, Cameron Upmann had an impressive round on Monday, shooting a 79 to finish with a 173 and Nathaniel Jackson ended play with a 176.
