NCAA Announces 2017 Outdoor Track and Field National Qualifiers

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee announced today the participants in the 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The championships will be held May 25-27 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
For each men’s individual event contested, including the decathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each women’s individual event contested, including the heptathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition.

shot put - Tanasha Atwater (#5 seed - 14.49m)
discus - Danielle Wegter (#6 seed - 48.16m)
discus - Shelby Lane (#16 seed - 45.46m)
discus - Kelsey Betthauser (#21 seed - 44.82m)
hammer throw - Tanasha Atwater (#8 seed - 55.45m)
Men
200m - Isaiah Ellis (#6 seed - :21.29)
shot put - Blaze Murfin (#10 seed - 16.82m)
discus - Alex Link (#6 seed - 51.65m)
hammer throw - Blaze Murfin (#12 seed - 57.50m)
