PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - It was a busy weekend for the University of Dubuque women's and men's indoor track and field teams in which they finished with new school records at UW-Platteville Select on Saturday and at UNI Jack Jennett Open on Friday.
Friday Tanasha Atwater set a new record in the shot put (15.01M/49'-3.00") and followed that up on Saturday with a record in the weight throw (17.32M/56'-10.00"). Fabiola Ortiz grabbed a new mark on Saturday in the women's 800 meter run (2:17.81). Blaze Murfin broke the record on Friday in the shot put (16.35M/53'-7.75").
