MONMOUTH, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's and women's track teams placed well at the 2017 Monmouth College Midwest Indoor Track and Field Invitational on Saturday (no team scores).
The Spartan women's team ended the afternoon winning five events while the men's team claimed seven titles, plus one fastest preliminaries qualifier. Alec Bass set a new school record in the men's 3000M run in 8:31.69, breaking his old mark set in 2016 (8:37.45).
