Spartans Show Success at Univ. of Iowa Musco Twilight

IOWA CITY, Iowa - A select group of University of Dubuque track and field competitors competed at the University of Iowa Musco Twilight on Saturday, April 22 on the Francis X. Cretzmeyer Track. The Spartans were led by a pair of first place finishes. Colfay Pointer edged a very quick field in the men's 400 meter dash in a blistering pace of :49.04. Fabiola Ortiz won the women's 3000 meter steeplechase in a time of 10:46.76. Other Spartans improved on their school records and placed high on Saturday.
