The concert production will serve as a musical awareness performance highlighting runaway youth in America. The concert, in partnership with Amy Ressler, director of theatre and dance and professor of theatre at UD, and the UD storytelling class, takes real stories of runaway youth from all perspectives of our country and sets their experiences to musical theatre works. Presented in two halves ("Struggle" and "Redemption"), the concert will feature songs from Broadway musicals Rent, Oliver!, The Book of Mormon, The Color Purple, Les Miserables, and more. Bratcher (tenor), along with guest vocalists and musicians from Dubuque and Savannah, Georgia, will bring a compelling musical experience to all involved.
