Women's Golf Place Eighth at Mt. Mercy Early Bird Classic

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's golf team swung into ther 2016-17 season on Sunday by finishing eighth at the Mount Mercy University Early Bird Classic with a team score of 433.
The Spartans Amanda Harrop led UD after shooting a round of 100 to place 28th overall. Abigail Perry tied for 33rd overall with a 107, Victoria Woltz placed 37th with a score of 111 and Brianna Finegan finished 40th with a score of 115.
The Spartans next meet is the Luther College Sail Classic at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Sept. 2-3.
