Elliott Leads Spartans to 9th Place Finish at D3 Midwest Region Classic

GALENA, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team finished in 9th place out of 36 teams (317-321-638) entered in the D3 Midwest Region Classic after opening with a round on Friday of 317. The Spartans Jordan Elliott shot a one over Par 73 on Friday afternoon and followed it up with a round of 77 on Saturday at the Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa North Course. He finished tied for fourth overall of the 175 competitors in one of the Midwest's toughest meets of the fall season.
The Spartans return to action on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Wartburg Fall Invite on the 6,614 yard Prairie Links Golf Club in Waverly, Iowa.
