Lonestar to Perform as UD Homecoming 2018 Headliner

DUBUQUE, Iowa – University of Dubuque is pleased to announce An Evening with Lonestar – a special 2018 Homecoming presentation open to the public – on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center. Tickets for Lonestar go on sale Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.
Known for merging their country roots with strong melodies and rich vocals, Lonestar has amassed sales of over 10 million albums since they burst onto the music scene in 1995. The group has achieved 10 No. 1 hits including “No News,” “Come Cryin’ To Me,” “Amazed,” and “My Front Porch Looking In.” Their crossover smash hit, “Amazed,” also charted No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the first record since 1983 to top both charts. Lonestar’s awards include the 1999 ACM Single of the Year for “Amazed” and the 2001 CMA Vocal Group of the Year. The band’s latest album, Never Enders, features 10 original songs that bring Lonestar’s trademark sound into the contemporary area. The band continues to perform over 100 dates worldwide every year.
Lonestar is the first 2018-2019 Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series event to be announced. The full season line-up will be announced later this summer.
Tickets for An Evening with Lonestar start at $44.00 for general public. Discounts are available to CenterStage season ticket holders, parents of current UD students, UD alumni, faculty, and staff, and active duty, retired, or reserve military personnel (phone and window sales only).

Farber Box Office summer hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A box office closure is scheduled for July 2-4.
