DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's basketball have won two league games in a row after a 66-58 victory over Coe College Kohawks on Wednesday night in Stoltz Sports Center.

Freshman Michael Williams earned the start and made the most of his night by leading UD in scoring with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus McDaniel came off the bench to finish with 15 points as teammates T.J. Lake and Jamaree Atwater would end with 14 and 11 points respectively. 

UD led at halftime 31-25, Both teams shot over 50 shot attempts and made 23 attempts. UD connected on just 5-23 three point attempts (21.7%), but missed just one free throw (15-16) 93.8%. The lead swapped 11 times in the Spartan victory.

UD entered the week seeking their first conference victory and have won in back-to-back games. The Spartans 10-7 overall and 2-6 in IIAC, welcome Nebraska Wesleyan University to campus on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 4:00 p.m. The Prairiewolves blew out the Wartburg Knights on Wednesday by a score of 99-60 to move back into a tie for the conference lead with Buena Vista University and Loras College with 6-2 IIAC records.
