Men's Golf in 4th after First Round of Illinois College Invite

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The men's golf team finally returned to play after a lousy spring weather season has hampered lay in the Midwest. UD shot a first round 301 in the first day of the Illinois College Blueboy Invite to sit at fourth place overall.
UD trio of Brady Ellis, Jordan Elliot, and Garvin Paper are all tied in 10th place overall after shooting rounds of 74, just two over par.
The Spartans blue team finished with a round 336 and are in 11th place overall. Collin Laundrie led the blue team with a round of 79 and is tied for 30th overall.
