Prairiewolves Stifle Men's Basketball on the Road

LINCOLN, Nebr. - The University of Dubuque men's basketball is still seeking a conference victory after a road loss on Saturday at Nebraska Wesleyan University 94-103. The Spartans and the Prairiewolves both shot above 50% from the field as UD prepares for four games in seven days.
T.J. Lake would finish with 30 points on 10-24 shooting from the field and he would sink 8-9 free throw attempts. Marcus McDaniel came off the bench to add 23 points. Jamaree Atwater had 16 points in 23 minutes of action. UD was outrebounded 33-38. The Spartans worked the ball inside and would out score the host Prairewolves 44-28 in the paint. Nebraska Wesleyan would sink 15-27 three point goal attempts.
It's a busy tough schedule the next seven days. The Spartans (8-7 overall and 0-6 in IIAC) return Saturday from Nebraska before getting on the bus Monday, Jan. 15 when the Spartans play at Luther College at 8:00 p.m. UD will return home on Wednesday, Jan. 17 to host the Coe College Kohawks at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 and the Spartans will face the Prairiewolves in a rematch at 4:00 p.m.
