Smith Earns D3football.com Defensive Player of Week Honors

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque football team's Le'Devin Smith was one of the players selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware for the week of Oct. 24, 2017. Smith had 16 tackles, eight solo, and two pass breakups as the Spartans' defense caused six turnovers (four interceptions and two caused fumbles) in a 28-27 overtime win over Simpson on homecoming.
This is the 19th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week.
