DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque women’s soccer team dominated Nebraska Wesleyan University on Wednesday night and earned a 3-0 win. In their last six matches, the Spartans have either won or tied.

How It Happened
-Tiffan Limmex almost scored the first goal of the match in the 10th minute but it clanked off the post
-The Spartans got the scoring started when Lauren Cangelosi lofted a corner kick into the box and Olivia Sullivan crashed in and headed it in
-UD struck on a corner kick yet again in the 40th minute when the corner kick was sent into the box but was punched out by the NWU goalie, however the ball went to Jaida Breese who kicked in into the net to give UD the 2-0 lead
-The Spartans added one more goal in the second half after the NWU goalie crashed into an attacking UD player to set up a penalty kick where Lexus Rose converted.  
-The Spartan defense was solid yet again, pitching their eighth shutout of the season. UD limited NWU to just one shot on goal in the match.
-UD outshot the Prairie Wolves 15-5 in the match, and 9-1 in the first half.
-UD also took seven corner kicks to NWU's 4
