CONWAY, Ark. - The University of Dubuque men's lacrosse team traveled to Hendix College for their second of three straight road contests, falling to the Warriors, 10-2.

Davis Behrns got the Spartan attack rolling early when he took a pass from Tanner Weis and snuck a shot past the Hendrx goalie to give UD a 1-0 lead less than three minutes into the game. Both offense remained quiet until Hendix scored two goals within a 30 second span late in the second quarter to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead at halftime.

The Spartans started the second half similar to the first half, with a quick goal from Davis Behrns and an assist from Tanner Weis. It was Behrns' fourth goal of the season and evened the score up at 2-2. However, Hendrix's offense found another gear and scored eight unaswered goals over the remaining 26 minutes of the game. 

Kyle Mullins recorded 13 saves in the net for UD, after being peppered by 61 shots from Hendrix, 23 of which were on goal.

The Spartans were 25-30 on clears and forced Hendrix into committing 24 turnovers. 

Up next, the Spartans travel north to St. Paul, Minnesota to take on the University of Northwestern. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
