Women's Soccer End in 2OT Tie

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Even after 90:00 minutes and two overtimes it was not enough to decide a winner as the University of Dubuque women's soccer team (2-1-1 overall) tied with UW-Eau Claire 1-1 on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened
-After three quick shots at the start of the game, UW-Eau Claire scored on their fourth chance in the eighth minute to give them a 1-0.
-Right before halftime and on the Spartans second shot of the game UD even the scored at 1-1 on a goal from Taylor Bettinger
-UW-Eau Claire kept pounding UD goalkeeper Victoria Roethler, but she would not give up another goal and recording 11 saves.
-Both teams combined for seven shots in the two overtimes, but neither squad could find the back of the net
