How It Happened
-UW-La Crosse’s Cassie Handrick scored just 6:48 into the first half.
-UW- La Crosse added two more goals in the next 12 minutes to make it 3-0 before the 20 minute mark.
-UD put four shots on goal in the first half but the UW-La Crosse goalie had multiple diving saves to keep the Spartans off the board.
-After the Eagles third goal, the Spartans defense settled down and did not allow another goal until the 66th minute.
