How It Happened
-After being held without a shot in the first half, Alexa Martin finally attempted UD’s first shot of the game in the 53rd minute but was saved by the Dutch goalie.
-Both teams attempted two shots in overtime, one of Central’s went off the crossbar and another was saved by UD goalie, Victoria Roethler, while one of UD’s shots was saved and the other one sailed left of the net.
-The Dutch outshot the Spartans 18-7 in total shots and 9-2 on shots on goal.
