Allen Jr. American Rivers Male Athlete of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After his performance in UD’s 21-10 win at Pacific on Saturday night, football’s Dwayne Allen Jr. has been named American Rivers Conference Male Athlete of the Week and American Rivers Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week.
On just the second play from scrimmage for the Spartans against the Boxers, Allen busted off a 74 yard run for a touchdown and an early 7-0 lead for UD. Allen Jr. would go on to rush 37 times in the game for 228 yards, a 6.2 yard average and two touchdowns.
The Spartans begin conference play this Saturday when they travel to Cedar Rapids to take on Coe College.
