Master Illusionist David Caserta Brings Haunting Wonder to Heritage Center

DUBUQUE, Iowa - University of Dubuque Heritage Center continues its sixth annual Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series with Haunted Illusions starring David Caserta on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in John and Alice Butler Hall. Halloween is celebrated and re-imagined as channeled through master illusionist David Caserta, who is highly acclaimed for his original illusions and television appearances, including recently on Penn & Teller: Fool Us on the CW network.

Fun for the whole family, audiences can expect an evening of mind-blowing magic and comedy. Patrons will be stunned and amazed as Caserta has people levitating, disappearing, and reappearing right before their eyes. He will demonstrate never-before-seen illusions created only for this show. Families will thrill, laugh, and possibly vanish from sight at a magic spectacular like no other. It will be an incredible night of magic complete with audience participation as well as haunted themes, sets, and illusions.  

Caserta is one of the top touring illusionists in the country. As seen on NBC's America's Got Talent, Caserta invents and performs many unique and original illusions. Incredible state-of-the-art theater technology featuring moving lights, a haunted musical soundtrack, and pyro/smoke effects creates a magic spectacular like nothing else on the touring circuit today.

A free preshow CyberCafé Knapp Stage concert from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. featuring electric violinist Rachael Miller precedes the performance.

Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. New for 2018-2019, all tickets increase by $5.00 beginning at midnight the day of performances.
