Women's Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Thursday, the United Soccer Coaches announced the recipients of the Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year, with the University of Dubuque women's soccer team making the list with a team GPA of 3.41
In order to receive the award the award, the team most post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The United Soccer Coaches announced that 773 teams (289 men, 484 women) across all divisions of NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA and NJCAA had reached the feat of a 3.0 GPA or higher for the 2017-2018 academic year.
This is the 11th straight year and 12th time overall (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) Jason Berna's team has received the prestigious honor.
