Women's Soccer Ranked Seventh in North Region

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The United Soccer Coaches annouced their first poll of the 2018 season on Tuesday afternoon, with the Spartans coming in at number seven in the north region.
The Spartans are one of three American Rivers Conference teams in the top ten of the north region. Wartburg sits at number four in the opening poll and Nebraska Wesleyan at sixth.
UD has opened the first two weeks of the season with a 3-1 record with wins over Lawrence University, UW-Eau Clarie and Marian University, including posting shutouts in two of those victories. The Spartans host two home games this weekend, hostingUW-Oskosh on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and UW-Stevens Point on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
