Graduate Reverend Timothy Polley (C'08, MDiv'11) puts passion into position as police chaplain.

In Pastor Tim Polley’s eyes, becoming chaplain for the Carrollton Police Department was a given considering how law enforcement runs in his family. His father and uncle were both police officers in southern Illinois, and Polley’s first college degree was in law enforcement.

Before Polley became a pastor, he worked for 20 years in security for John Deere. The running joke at the production facility was the security’s warning lights should have been green and yellow, he said.
