Biology

Biology is a diverse field, and our degree program accounts for this by having two tracks:

1. Pre-Health Professions/Microbioloy/Cell Biology: a focus on laboratory and small-scale biology, and
   
2. Organismal and Ecological Biology: a focus on the intereaction animals, plants, and their ecosystems.

All biology majors begin with a core of four courses aimed at establishing basic understanding and preparing students for advanced coursework. At the end of their sophomore year, students and their adviser plan additional courses, internships, and research experiences that will help students achieve their career ambitions.
