Commencement doors open at the Chlapaty Recreation & Wellness Center located at Bennett and McCormick Streets.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis – non-ticketed.
All undergraduate and graduate students assemble in John & Alice Butler Hall in the Heritage Center with full Commencement apparel on. Because of seminary commencement events, we ask that you enter Heritage through the north entrance (facing the library), take the stairs on your left down to the Palmer-Noone Lounge, proceed down the hall and check in at the tables to receive honor cords and procedural instructions. Signs will assist you along the way.
Faculty, administrators, and platform party assemble in Room 200 of the Heritage Cener.
Academic regalia required – includes cap, gown, and hood.
Procession is led by the bagpiper from the Heritage Center, crossing to McCormick Street, and to the North entrance of the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center.
If we experience inclement weather on Commencement day, we will not follow the above processional route. An inclement weather decision will be made on Friday, May 16, at 12:00 noon and communicated to all concerned via U.D. websites and e-mail correspondence to students, faculty and staff.
Commencement Ceremony begins in the Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center.
