The Alumni Courtyard Sculpture - 1988

Located in the Steffens Courtyard, it represents our broken world - broken politically, economically, ethnically, spiritually and physically. The University of Dubuque's role is to help heal our fractured world. The plaque reads:

Mancherlei Gaben Und
Ein Geist
Many talents and one spirit
Serve the whole church
and the World Dedicated
to the future of the
University of Dubuque
G. Pierson and Ruth M. Brauch
R. Scott and Joann Fetner
