Seminary Townhouses - 2001

With seminary enrollment at full capacity, the townhouses will provide much needed housing accommodations for students and their families. Seminary is an intensive graduate program of at least three year's duration, making adequate housing a necessity. In 1994, the University obtained approval from the City of Dubuque to build seminary housing on University property adjacent to Collins Street. The Seminary's townhouse development consists of 32 three-bedroom, two-bath units in a park-like setting on the South Campus. Each townhouse will include a full basement, a fully-equipped separate study, and will be fiber-optically connected to the Campus. Other amenities include a tot-lot or children's play area for use by seminary families as well as neighborhood children. These homes for the seminary community are made possible as a result of the generous gifts from alumni, friends, congregations, and foundations. The project is slated for completion by July of 2001 - in time for students to move in before the fall 2001 semester.
