Personal Property/Real Estate

The University of Dubuque welcomes gifts of tangible personal property or real estate that help to further the mission and vision of the University and Theological Seminary.

Every gift of personal property or real estate must be approved by the President's Council in order for the gift to be accepted.

Real property is defined as property with or without buildings, houses, or apartments. A person of any age or income/estate level may contribute property. The donor often benefits from an income tax deduction and avoids capital gains tax.
