Athletic Training

The Athletic Trainers at University of Dubuque are here to provide student-athletes with an opportunity to participate in intercollegiate athletics in the safest and healthiest manner possible. Our goals are to help prevent athletic injuries from occurring and, recognizing that some injuries are inevitable, render first aid, provide follow-up treatment, and rehabilitation.

The staff is also here to educate and inform the student-athlete as well as their parent on the particular injury or illness.

We are also here to return the student-athlete to participation as soon as it is medically safe.

Certified Athletic Trainers
University of Dubuque Certified Athletic Trainers are Certified by the National Accrediting Organization of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATABOC) as well as licensed by the State of Iowa.
