Media Services offers the following for UD faculty, students, and staff:
- Video production (filming/editing/duplication)

- Staffing and technical support for special events
- Recording of classes and lectures
- Technical support for campus audio-visual equipment (projectors/TVs/audio equipment, etc.)
- Technical support for Skype and other videoconferencing services
We are available to assist with video projects, from concept and filming to editing and distribution (DVD, YouTube, Mediasite, etc.) For a sample of our videos, visit the Media Services YouTube channel.
Special Event Support
If you're planning a special event, Media Services can help with most technical needs. To get started, print out and submit a Special Event Technology Request form. Please submit the form at least one week in advance. If your event has a technical rider, please include a copy with the Special Event Tech Support form.
If you prefer to setup and operate equipment yourself, we lend a variety of AV equipment and instructional technology. A completed Equipment Loan Agreement is required before gear is loaned out.
If you would like your event recorded, please indicate that on the Special Event Technology Support form. We can copy to DVD or post online. Please note that a signed Recording Permission Form is required for anyone who is not a UD faculty, staff, or student. Contact Nathan Ripperger at 563.589.3442 for more information.
Most of the classrooms on campus are outfitted with a computer and projector. For a complete list of classrooms and their equipment, check out the classroom technology inventory.
Referrals and Recommendations
If your technical support needs exceed the scope of our office, we can recommend other professional AV companies. Call Mike Willis at 563.589.3350 for more information.
