Sponsor & Host a table during the Spring Etiquette Dinner

Each Spring UD's Career Services hosts an etiquette dinner during its annual Career Week events.  The event is sponsored by local employers and free for students to attend and apply their networking skills.

Employer representatives assist to facilitate dialogue at their sponsored table(s).   This is a great networking and recruitment opportunity for employers and students. For additional information, please contact Sandy Jewett, B.A.M., Employer Relations Specialist to review cost for sponsorship, date, time, and place of the event  sjewett@dbq.edu  or 563.589.3633

Participate in the Mock Interview Program

UD's Career Services provides students with an opportunity to practice their interview skills by participating in a mock interview with a professional in a career field of their interest.

We encourage local professionals/retirees to participate as a mock interviewer for UD students.

This is a helpful program for students to develop their interview skills with a critique provided by the interview.  As well as, a critique of their resume & cover letter.   Also, this program serves as a healthy means of networking for students within their field of interest.

For more information on the mock interview program or if interested in serving as a mock interviewer, please contact Sandy Jewett, B.A.M., Employer Relations Specialist to review dates and times available on the UD campus sjewett@dbq.edu   or 563.589.3113

*Special Note:  During the 2011-2012 academic year, local employers, representatives and retirees donated over 500 hours to assist UD students through the Mock Interview Program.  We are greatly appreciative for their service.
