University of Dubuque

Theatre Arts

The Theatre Arts program at the University of Dubuque offers a major in Fine & Performing Arts - Theatre Arts as well as a minor in Theatre Arts.  In addition to the academic programs, the department works very closely with the Drama Club to present three or four full-mounted productions each year.

Productions are open to all university students, regardless of major.  Academic credit is available for participation in performance ensembles.  The production season typically includes a musical, a social justice play, a participatory mystery dinner play, and a theatre for youth audiences production.
