This person should have an interest in, and commitment to helping faculty, students, and staff to teach and learn using technology. Responsibilities include technical support for classroom technology; video production, including filming, editing, webcasting and duplication; assisting distance education program, with their course management system, setting up and operating AV equipment for special events, and managing student assistants.

§ Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited institution
§ At least three years experience in educational technology, media production or a related field.

The Department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Dubuque invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. Teaching responsibilities for this position include analytical chemistry, forensic chemistry, and other chemistry classes, based on Departmental needs and the successful candidate's qualifications and interests. A Ph.D. in Chemistry is required at the time of appointment. The Periodicals & Digital Management Assistant is responsible for processing all periodicals, both online and in print, and for managing library statistical data. This is a full-time position reporting to the Assistant Director for Library Systems and Technical Services.
Responsibilities include: Order, process, and manage online and print periodicals using a variety of vendors and Horizon. Digitally manage a variety of statistical reports regarding the online and print collections, including periodicals, databases, circulation, and reserves; assist with E-Reserves and copyright compliance; process Christian education material; assist with future digitization of archival materials; manage student assistants in department; provide support for the information literacy and reference program; participate in library planning and committees, and participate in other projects as assigned.
Qualification: Required-Undergraduate degree; commitment to service; good with detail; demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; excellent communication and interpersonal sills; excellent computer skills, including Excel; able to work effectively on a team committed to the mission of the University and the library.

Function: This is a working supervisor position to assist directing the custodians assigned to cleaning buildings and to work with other lead custodian on event set up. Provide custodial service to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings, to include vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors, dusting, washing walls, windows and emptying trash, replenishing restroom supplies and event set-up.
Qualifications: Individual must posses organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must have physical strength and stamina to perform the work required including the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, move furniture, work on your feet for a long period of time; lift at least 40 pounds, climb ladders and scaffold to perform work required, work up to height of 12 ft; and to use aerial lift up to height of 40 ft. Ability to strip and wax floors to include tile and terrazzo floors, and to operate floor machines for scrubbing and buffing, carpet machines to shampoo carpets and furniture and other machines that are required to perform job functions. Must have valid driver's license. A full background check is required and must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Hours are Monday-Friday from 5 am - 1:30 pm. Position Summary
The Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) and Dean of the College is responsible for translating and implementing the Mission of the University into vision, leadership, and direction of all aspects of the University's academic programs, including instruction, advising, scholarship, creative activity, and service.
The VPAA holds a key leadership position in an exciting period in our history of renewal and restoration. The Transformation period which began over a decade ago has been marked by dramatic enrollment and fundraising increases, program development, and endowment growth complemented by physical plant expansion and renovation.
The VPAA oversees the educational policy and programs of instruction for the college and all matters relating to the effectiveness and development of the faculty. This vice president collaborates with the faculty to ensure the integrity of the University's curriculum, provides leadership and direction for all instructional programs and academic units, supports the faculty's teaching, scholarship, advising, and service, initiates and reviews curricular reforms, oversees accreditation of academic programs; prepares and approves all academic budgets; and advises the President on faculty personnel matters, including hiring, contracting, promotion, and tenure. The VPAA reports to the President and serves on the President's Cabinet as a senior officer of the University.
