Employment ApplicationThe University of Dubuque is searching for a faculty member to perform teaching duties and curriculum development in the Gaming Track of the CGIM major.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree from accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physics, mathematics, or computer graphics. Terminal degree preferred.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years in higher education or in-house work within a game company.
WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years business or industry experience in computer game development.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of networking and internet use for developing multiplayer games; knowledge of Garage Game Torque, Unreal, Source SDK or similar engines; experience interfacing programming with graphic and sound art; experience creating Play Station, Xbox, Game Cube, etc. or PC games; knowledge of fundamental AI related to game development; knowledge of creating game level map mods; knowledge of game creation using Adobe Flash with ActionScript.
